What is Feng Shui – The Easy Way

What is Feng Shui, anyway?  Feng Shui is easy to understand when we put it in context.  It seems mystical, even almost religious at first glance, but after reading this simple explanation you’ll quickly come to see it’s not mystical or religious at all.  Yes, it is sometimes complicated, but what good in-depth 5000 year old knowledge base isn’t, right.

One of the things I never saw or read on other websites is what Feng Shui really is.  I knew Chi or energy was the main focus.  I knew it solved problems such as relationships, money, knowledge, career, health, helpful people, children, among other things.  I also knew that there are forms, formulas, elements, and directions.  However, my question still remained.  I even took over 26 feng shui classes online before understanding this simple, yet easy way to grasp the concept of Feng Shui and what it really is.

Embarrassingly enough, I even personally know feng shui consultants, but for some reason it was difficult to even ask the question because I wasn’t for sure how.   That sounds completely ridiculous but it was true.  One reason was I didn’t want the cliché answer of it’s energy or the practice of harmonizing the energies in your space.

Then one day, very recently, I realized I shouldn’t be asking, “what is feng shui“, I should be rephrasing the question to ask, what is the ‘Energy’ to which Feng Shui is used.  By asking the question in this way, I was able to more easily understand the big picture.  Now I want to share it with you.
